이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 칼슘 의존성 인지질 결합 단백질 계열인 annexin 패밀리에 속합니다. 일부는 세포막 관련 과정(분비 및 내포 과정)에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
