Target Information
PAK4 is a serine/threonine p21-activated kinase involved in actin cytoskeleton reorganization and filopodia formation. It belongs to the group II PAK family (PAK4, 5, 6), which are not activated by Cdc42/Rac binding. PAK4 plays essential roles in embryonic viability, neuronal development, and tumor cell growth through activation of prosurvival pathways.
