Target Information

Ki-67는 세포 주기 중 여러 단계(G1, S, G2, M)에서 발현되는 핵 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, nucleolus 등과 결합하며, 세포 주기 단계별로 다른 핵 내 분포를 보입니다. Ki-67는 G0 단계에서는 발현되지 않으며, G1부터 유사분열(M phase)까지 점진적으로 증가합니다. 따라서 Ki-67 항체는 종양 조직에서 세포 증식률 평가에 널리 사용되며, 저등급 종양과 낮은 Ki-67 지수 간의 상관관계가 강하게 보고되었습니다. 또한 신경세포의 증식 및 세포 주기 연구에 유용한 마커로 활용됩니다.
