Target Information
PDPK1 (3-Phosphoinositide Dependent Protein Kinase 1)은 AGC kinase를 인산화하며, conventional PKC와 PKC zeta를 활성화합니다. 또한 phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 존재하에서 Protein Kinase B (PKB)의 Thr308을 인산화합니다. 활성화된 Akt는 Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 (GSK3)를 불활성화하여 glycogen synthase를 활성화시키고 glycogen 합성을 촉진합니다. PDPK1은 인슐린 유도 glycogen 합성과 PKC 활성화에 관여하므로, 대사성 약물 연구의 중요한 타깃입니다.
