Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

EphA1 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family.
EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental events, especially in the nervous system.
Receptors in this subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and two fibronectin type III repeats.
Ephrin receptors are divided into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand affinity (ephrin-A or ephrin-B).
EphA1 is expressed in some human cancer cell lines and has been implicated in carcinogenesis.
