- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Bromodeoxyuridine (5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine, BrdU)는 티미딘의 합성 뉴클레오사이드 유사체입니다.
BrdU는 세포 증식 검출에 사용되며, DNA 복제 과정 중 S기 동안 새롭게 합성된 DNA에 삽입됩니다.
BrdU 특이적 항체를 이용하면 DNA에 삽입된 BrdU를 검출할 수 있어, DNA 복제가 활발한 세포를 식별할 수 있습니다.
항체 결합을 위해서는 일반적으로 산 또는 열에 의한 DNA 변성이 필요합니다.
