Antibody detects endogenous levels of total SNX4.

Target Information

SNX2 and SNX4 share a high degree of amino acid similarity with SNX1, as they all contain a characteristic phox homology (PX) domain. These proteins are partially associated with cellular membranes and interact with EGF, PDGF, and insulin receptor tyrosine kinases. Sorting nexins are widely expressed with tissue-specific distribution and can form multisubunit complexes with other cellular proteins. The related protein SNX3 forms a distinct subgroup with different binding affinities for tyrosine kinase receptors.
