Target Information
TNIK (TRAF2 and NCK interacting kinase)는 N-terminal kinase domain과 C-terminal GCK domain을 가지며, 후자는 조절 기능을 수행합니다. TNIK는 주로 뇌, 심장, 비장에서 발현되며 RAP2의 특이적 효과기로 작용하여 actin cytoskeleton을 조절합니다.
TNIK는 kinase domain의 ATP-binding pocket 내 Lys54 의존적 자가 인산화를 통해 세포골격 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 gelsolin을 인산화하여 세포 내외 actin 절단 단백질의 기능 조절에 관여함이 보고되었습니다.
