This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
This antibody has specificity for Human ZIP Kinase/DAPK3.

Target Information

DAPK3 is a serine/threonine kinase functionally linked to cell motility, smooth muscle contractility, and cell death processes.
It is encoded by ZIPK and is a component of desmosomes and the epidermal cornified envelope in keratinocytes. The N-terminal domain interacts with the plasma membrane, while the C-terminus interacts with intermediate filaments.
Through its rod domain, DAPK3 forms complexes with envoplakin and may serve as a link between the cornified envelope, desmosomes, and intermediate filaments.
AKT1/PKB, a protein kinase involved in cell growth and survival signaling, interacts with DAPK3, suggesting a role in AKT1-mediated localization signaling.
