Target Information

Zinc-fingers and homeobox (ZHX) 단백질은 전사 인자로서 NF-YA의 활성화 도메인과 상호작용합니다. ZHX1–3은 다양한 조직에서 발현되며 전사 억제 인자로 작용하고, 핵 내에 위치합니다. 이 단백질들은 두 개의 Cys(2)-His(2)-형 zinc-finger 모티프와 다섯 개의 homeodomain(HD)을 포함하여, 서로 간의 호모다이머 및 헤테로다이머 형성이 가능합니다. ZHX2의 과메틸화에 의한 침묵은 간세포암(HCC)에서의 후성유전학적 사건으로 알려져 있습니다.
