Target Information
TCP-1 theta는 CCT(chaperonin containing TCP1 complex)의 θ 서브유닛으로, 진핵세포 세포질에서 풍부하게 존재하며 새로 합성된 단백질의 운반 및 조립에 관여합니다.
분자 샤페론은 ATP 가수분해에 의해 단백질 접힘을 돕고, TCP-1 theta는 섬모 형성에 관여하는 BBsome 복합체의 조립에도 역할을 합니다. 또한 actin과 tubulin의 접힘에도 관여하며, CCT는 8개의 폴리펩타이드로 구성된 이중 링 구조를 이루어 VHL 종양 억제 단백질의 접힘에 중요합니다.
