Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cytokeratin 19 is a member of the intermediate filament protein family, exhibiting biochemical diversity across human epithelial tissues. Human cytokeratins (1–20) vary in molecular weight (40–68 kDa) and isoelectric point (pH 4.9–7.8).
Cytokeratin subtype expression patterns are useful for distinguishing epithelial malignancies and assessing tissue differentiation. Cytokeratin 19 is not expressed in hepatocytes, making it a valuable marker for identifying liver metastasis in diagnostic research.
