DOK3 proteins function as adaptor or scaffolding molecules, providing docking platforms for multimolecular signaling complexes. DOK3 acts as a negative regulator of JNK signaling in B-cells through interaction with INPP5D/SHIP1 and may modulate ABL1 function.
