Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform desalting again using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes differ in tissue distribution and substrate specificity.
SULT1C2 belongs to the SULT1 subfamily, responsible for transferring a sulfo moiety from PAPS to phenol-containing compounds and shows specificity for hydroxyarylamines.
SULT1C2 catalyzes the sulfonation of p-nitrophenol and N-hydroxy-2-acetylaminofluorene, but not dopamine.
