Target Information
CD53은 tetraspanin 계열의 막단백질로, 림프구 및 골수 계통 세포에서 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 CD2, CD19, CD21, MHC II, VLA-4, CD37, CD81, CD82 등의 백혈구 표면 단백질과 복합체를 형성하여 다양한 신호전달 과정을 조절할 가능성이 있습니다.
또한 CD53은 종양세포의 방사선 저항성과 관련이 있으며, 자극 시 항-아폽토시스 효과를 나타냅니다.
흉선에서는 T 세포 발달 중 양성 선택 신호에 반응하여 발현이 증가하고, 대식세포가 세균성 LPS에 노출될 때 강하게 발현됩니다. 반면, 호중구 자극 시 CD53 발현은 감소합니다.
