Target Information
The HSP70 family includes four highly conserved proteins: HSP70, HSC70, GRP75, and GRP78.
GRP75 is localized in the mitochondrial matrix and assists in translocation and folding of nascent polypeptides from both nuclear and mitochondrial origins.
Unlike HSP70, GRP75 and GRP78 are not induced by heat stress but respond to glucose deprivation.
