TRIM45 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. It may function as a transcriptional repressor of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. TRIM45 proteins play roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, development, oncogenesis, and apoptosis.
