For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCE (PKC epsilon), is activated by intracellular signal transduction pathways. In humans, at least 12 PKC isoforms have been identified, differing in structure, tissue distribution, localization, and substrate specificity.
PKC alpha, beta I, beta II, and gamma form the conventional family, dependent on Ca²⁺ and phospholipids. PKC family members phosphorylate diverse protein targets and play key roles in cellular signaling pathways. They also act as receptors for phorbol esters, known tumor promoters. Each PKC isoform exhibits distinct expression and functional profiles.
