Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PIM2 is a proto-oncogene that phosphorylates BAD, partially inhibiting its apoptotic function. PIM proteins (PIM-1, PIM-2, and PIM-3) are oncogene-encoded serine/threonine kinases. PIM-2 shares high homology with PIM-1 and exhibits similar oncogenic functions. It is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic tissues, spleen, thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, testis, small intestine, and colon. PIM2 expression decreases upon growth factor depletion, and elevated levels have been observed in certain cancers.
