- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human EPCR is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease involved in the blood coagulation pathway.
It is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein that enhances the activation of protein C.
Mutations in this gene have been associated with venous thromboembolism, myocardial infarction, and late fetal loss during pregnancy.
