Target Information
GAB2 유전자는 GRB2-associated binding protein (GAB) 유전자 패밀리에 속합니다. 이 단백질들은 pleckstrin homology (PH) 도메인을 포함하며, SHP2 tyrosine phosphatase와 GRB2 adapter 단백질에 결합합니다. 사이토카인 및 성장인자 수용체, T- 및 B-세포 항원 수용체를 통한 다양한 신호 전달의 어댑터 역할을 합니다. 이 단백질은 고친화성 IgE 수용체 활성화에 반응하여 phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase의 주요 활성화 인자로 작용합니다. 두 가지 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되어 있습니다.
