Target Information
KIAA0101 is a PCNA-binding protein that regulates DNA repair during DNA replication. Upon DNA damage, its interaction with PCNA is disrupted, allowing monoubiquitinated PCNA to interact with DNA polymerase eta (POLH) at stalled replication forks, facilitating lesion bypass. It also regulates centrosome number.
