Target Information
JHDM1D는 히스톤 탈메틸화 효소로, 히스톤 H3의 dimethylated Lys-9 및 Lys-27(H3K9me2, H3K27me2)을 특이적으로 탈메틸화하여 히스톤 코드 조절에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다. H3K4me3의 존재 여부에 따라 탈메틸화 활성이 달라지며, H3K4me3가 존재할 경우 H3K9me2에 대한 활성이 없고 H3K27me2에 대한 활성이 높습니다.
