Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 15 µL or 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
After reconstitution, store at 4°C for up to 1 week. For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene mediates transcriptional control by interacting with the activation function 2 (AF2) region of several nuclear receptors, including the estrogen, retinoic acid, and vitamin D3 receptors.
It localizes to nuclear bodies and associates with chromatin and heterochromatin-associated factors.
This protein belongs to the tripartite motif (TRIM) family, containing three zinc-binding domains (RING, B-box type 1, B-box type 2) and a coiled-coil region.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
