• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• Ships as lyophilized powder at room temperature; store at -20°C upon arrival.

• For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

TSPAN7 belongs to the transmembrane 4 superfamily (tetraspanin family). These cell-surface proteins feature four hydrophobic domains and mediate signal transduction involved in cell development, activation, growth, and motility. The encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that may regulate neurite outgrowth and interacts with integrins. Mutations in this gene are linked to X-linked mental retardation and neuropsychiatric diseases such as Huntington’s chorea, fragile X syndrome, and myotonic dystrophy.
