Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Spectrin은 actin 교차결합 및 세포막-세포골격 연결을 담당하는 분자 스캐폴드 단백질로, 세포 형태 유지와 막 단백질 배열, 세포 소기관의 조직화에 관여합니다. α-β 이합체가 머리-머리 결합으로 연결된 사량체 형태를 이루며, 22개의 spectrin 반복 서열을 포함합니다. 비적혈구성 α-spectrin보다 약한 사량체 결합을 형성하여 적혈구의 막 탄성 및 변형성을 증가시킬 수 있습니다. 이 유전자 변이는 elliptocytosis type 2, pyropoikilocytosis, spherocytic hemolytic anemia 등 다양한 적혈구 유전 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
