Target Information
Gephyrin은 신경세포에서 억제성 신경전달수용체를 시냅스 후 세포골격에 고정시키는 단백질로, 수용체 서브유닛 도메인 및 튜불린 이합체와 높은 친화도로 결합합니다. 비신경 조직에서는 molybdenum cofactor 생합성에도 관여합니다. 이 유전자의 변이는 hyperplexia 및 molybdenum cofactor 결핍과 관련될 수 있습니다. 다양한 전사체 변이형이 보고되었으나, 모든 변이형의 완전한 구조는 아직 규명되지 않았습니다.
