For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) plays a key role in vascular, renal, and myocardial physiology.
Unlike its homolog ACE, ACE2 expression is primarily found in the heart, kidney, and testis.
ACE2 also functions as a receptor for the SARS coronavirus.
It converts angiotensin I (AngI) to Ang1-9 and AngII to Ang1-7, differing from ACE, which converts AngI to AngII.
Deficiency of ACE2 in mice leads to reduced cardiac contractility, highlighting its importance in heart function regulation.
