STAT5 alpha는 IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 및 다양한 성장호르몬의 반응을 매개합니다.
TEL/JAK2 유전자 융합과 관련된 골수종 및 림프종에서 STAT5 alpha의 활성화는 세포 자극에 독립적이며 종양형성에 필수적입니다.
마우스 STAT5 alpha는 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하며, 이는 항아폽토시스 기능을 시사합니다.
