Target Information
ATG3 (APG3)는 APG8 지질화에 관여하는 결합 효소로, 자가포식(autophagy) 개시 단계에서 필수적인 역할을 합니다. 자가포식은 세포 단백질을 자가포식소체-리소좀 경로를 통해 분해하는 과정으로, 정상적인 성장 조절과 세포 내 단백질의 균형 유지에 중요합니다. 또한 영양 결핍 상태에서 세포 생존에 기여하며, TOR (Target of Rapamycin)에 의해 음성 조절됩니다. ATG3는 Atg8-phosphatidylethanolamine (Atg8-PE) 결합체 형성을 촉매하여 자가포식소체 형성 초기 단계에서 E2 유사 효소로 작용합니다.
