PPP1R3A는 골격근에서 유래한 glycogen-associated 형태의 protein phosphatase-1 (PP1)로, 37 kDa 촉매 서브유닛과 124 kDa 조절 서브유닛으로 구성된 이합체입니다. PPP1R3A는 근육 glycogen에 높은 친화도로 결합하여, glycogen synthase 및 glycogen phosphorylase kinase와 같은 glycogen 결합 기질의 탈인산화를 촉진합니다.
