Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the target and offer versatility for multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Secondary antibodies provide signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
