Target Information
MACC1 (Metastasis Associated in Colon Cancer 1)은 HGF-HGF receptor (MET) 경로의 핵심 조절 인자로, 세포 성장, EMT, 혈관신생, 세포 이동성, 침습성 및 전이에 관여합니다.
MACC1 단백질은 ZU5, SH3, 두 개의 C-terminal death domain (DD)을 포함한 네 개의 도메인으로 구성되어 있으며, 정상 조직이나 선종에 비해 악성 조직(모든 단계의 대장암, 간 및 폐 전이)에서 발현이 현저히 증가합니다.
MACC1은 연령, 성별, 종양 침윤, 림프절 상태, 림프관 침범과 무관하게 대장암 전이에 대한 조기이자 중요한 예후 지표로 작용합니다. 또한 MET 수용체와의 신호전달 및 세포사멸(apoptosis) 사이의 연결고리로 작용하며, 대장암 치료의 잠재적 표적이 될 수 있습니다.
MACC1의 최소 두 가지 isoform이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
