For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

LAG-3 (Lymphocyte Activation Gene 3) is a 70 kDa surface glycoprotein belonging to the Ig superfamily, structurally homologous to CD4.
It binds MHC class II with higher affinity than CD4 and functions as a negative regulator of T cell activation and homeostatic proliferation.
LAG-3 is expressed on activated T cells, regulatory T cells, and NK cells, with CD8⁺ T cells generally showing higher expression than CD4⁺ T cells.
Coexpression of LAG-3 and CD49b is used to identify human and mouse Type 1 regulatory T cells (Tr1 cells).
