Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
Uroplakin 1B is a component of the asymmetric unit membrane (AUM), a specialized biomembrane produced by terminally differentiated urothelial cells. It may play a role in bladder epithelial physiology by regulating membrane permeability of umbrella cells or stabilizing the apical membrane through AUM/cytoskeletal interactions.
