Target Information
Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF)는 중추 및 말초 신경세포의 생존에 중요한 인자로, 신장 및 장 신경계 발달에 필수적입니다. GDNF의 생리학적 작용에는 GDNFRα (GFR alpha-1)라는 GPI 결합 단백질 수용체가 필요합니다.
GFRα-1은 GDNF와 특이적으로 결합하여 Ret 단백질 티로신 키나아제(PTK)의 활성화를 매개하며, GDNF-GFRα-Ret 복합체를 형성하여 신호전달 및 기능을 조절합니다.
이 단백질은 Ret ligand 1 (RETL1), TGF-β-related neurotrophic factor receptor 1 (TrnR1)로도 알려져 있습니다.
