- Mouse anti-Mouse CD161 / NK1.1 antibody, clone PK136, recognizes the mouse NK1.1 cell surface antigen, a glycoprotein encoded by members of the NKR-P1 gene family.
Target Information
NK1.1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily B, member 1; KLRB1; NKR-P1A; CD161) is a marker for Natural Killer (NK) cells, which mediate cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion upon immune stimulation.
The KLRB1 protein belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily and includes extracellular, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic domains.
NKR-P1A (CD161), encoded by KLRB1, recognizes Lectin Like Transcript-1 (LLT1) as a functional ligand and is classified as a type II membrane protein with an external C terminus.
