Product Specific Information

• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 κ immunoglobulin used as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for use at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test. One test corresponds to staining a 100 µL cell sample, typically containing 10⁵–10⁸ cells.
• Light Sensitivity: PE-Cy5 tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
• Fixation: Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-Step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-57) with minimal fluorescence loss.
• Excitation / Emission: 488–561 nm / 667 nm; compatible with Blue, Green, and Yellow-Green lasers.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in adaptive immunity. It mediates opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity.
Mouse IgG1 is widely used in research for ELISA, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
