Target Information
Beta-arrestin-2 (ARRB2)는 arrestin 패밀리에 속하는 어댑터 단백질로, N- 및 C-arrestin 도메인을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 G 단백질 연결 수용체(GPCR)의 탈감작에 관여하며, beta2-adrenergic receptor (β2AR)의 기능을 조절합니다.
ARRB2는 인산화된 β2AR에 결합하여 G(S) 단백질 활성화를 억제하고, AIP4와 함께 CXCR4의 엔도솜 분류 및 분해 경로로의 이동을 매개합니다.
또한 TSH 수용체의 호르몬 특이적 탈감작에도 관여하며, 망막 외절편의 Ca²⁺ 결합 단백질로서 P-rhodopsin과 상호작용하고 시냅스 전달에도 관여합니다.
ARRB2는 대부분의 조직, 특히 신경 조직과 비장에서 널리 발현됩니다.
