Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에 존재하는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 핵심 히스톤 단백질들과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 하며, 다양한 번역 후 변형(post-translational modification)을 통해 크로마틴 구조와 전사 인자 결합에 영향을 미칩니다. 특히 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 메틸화, 아세틸화, 인산화 등의 변형을 통해 세포 내 다양한 조절 과정을 담당합니다.
