Invitrogen™ IGFBP-1 Human ProcartaPlex™ Simplex Kit

The Human IGFBP-1 Simplex ProcartaPlex Kit measures IGFBP-1 protein and is designed to be combinable with other Simplex kits, allowing creation of custom multiplex panels utilizing Luminex xMAP technology for protein detection and quantitation.
When combining multiple Simplex kits (not using a pre-configured Multiplex Panel), only one buffer kit (sold separately) is required per assay plate, regardless of plex size.

기술 개요

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on sandwich ELISA principles, using two specific antibodies targeting different epitopes of one protein for simultaneous quantitation via Luminex instruments.
Luminex beads are dyed with unique ratios of red and infrared fluorophores, creating distinct spectral signatures recognized by Luminex xMAP systems (e.g., Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).
Each bead is conjugated with antibodies specific for a single target protein, and detection is achieved using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).
Unlike traditional ELISA, the capture antibody is bead-conjugated and free-floating, enabling multiplex profiling with less sample volume and equivalent assay time.

ProcartaPlex multiplex panels are available across six species: human, mouse, rat, nonhuman primate, porcine, and canine.
