Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Hsp70 family proteins, including HSPA6, function as molecular chaperones that stabilize existing proteins against aggregation and assist in the folding of newly synthesized polypeptides. They recognize nonnative conformations of other proteins and bind to hydrophobic peptide segments exposed during translation, membrane translocation, or stress-induced damage.
