Target Information
ADAM12는 ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease-like domain) 계열에 속하는 단백질로, ADAM12S (short form)와 ADAM12L (long form)의 두 가지 형태가 보고되었습니다.
Short form은 세포막 및 세포질 도메인이 결여된 용해성 형태로, 근형성(myogenesis)을 유도하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 두 형태 모두 동일 조직에서 발현될 수 있으며, 세포질 도메인의 존재 여부에 따라 서로 다른 조절 경로를 가질 수 있습니다.
