Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This protein, identified using differential display to detect tissue-specific genes, is expressed specifically in kidney and liver. It shows amino acid sequence similarity to N-acetyltransferases. A similar protein in Xenopus affects cell adhesion and gastrulation movements and may be localized in the secretory pathway. A highly similar paralog is found in a cluster with this gene.
