BC96 단일클론 항체는 인간 CD25 (55 kDa interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, IL-2Rα)에 반응합니다. CD25는 T 및 B 세포 계통의 초기 전구세포와 활성화된 성숙 T 및 B 림프구에서 발현됩니다. CD25 단독으로는 IL-2에 낮은 친화도를 가지지만, CD122(IL-2Rβ) 및 CD132(공통 γ 사슬)와 결합하여 고친화성 IL-2 수용체를 형성합니다. CD25는 림프구의 분화 및 활성화/증식에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
