Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform additional desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CTSL1 (Cathepsin L) is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase involved in intracellular protein catabolism.
It degrades substrates such as collagen, elastin, and alpha-1 protease inhibitor, regulating neutrophil elastase activity.
The protein is associated with pathological processes including myofibril necrosis, myocardial ischemia, and renal tubular response to proteinuria.
A member of the peptidase C1 family, CTSL1 forms a disulfide-linked dimer of heavy and light chains derived from a single precursor.
Multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
