Target Information
N-cadherin은 세포 간 칼슘 의존성 접착을 매개하는 140 kDa 막단백질로, 발달 과정 중 형태형성 운동 조절 및 세포 표면 접착 조절에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 actin-cytoskeleton과 결합하여 기능하며, C-말단 영역이 catenin 단백질과 상호작용합니다.
이 결합의 안정성은 β-catenin의 인산화 및 탈인산화에 의해 조절됩니다.
N-cadherin은 5개의 extracellular cadherin 반복, transmembrane 영역, 보존된 cytoplasmic tail로 구성된 당단백질이며, gastrulation 동안 기능하고 좌우 비대칭성 확립에 필수적입니다.
