Target Information
KLF9 is a transcription factor belonging to the Sp1 C2H2-type zinc finger family. It binds to GC box elements located in promoters. Binding to a single GC box inhibits mRNA expression, while binding to tandemly repeated GC boxes activates transcription.
KLF9 plays a key role in regulating uterine endometrial cell proliferation, adhesion, and differentiation during pregnancy and tumorigenesis.
