Target Information
BSPH1 is a protein coding gene. Binds sperm in vitro and promotes sperm capacitation. Specifically promotes capacitation induced by high density lipoproteins (HDLs). Also binds heparin, phospholipid liposomes, and weakly to gelatin. Does not bind chondroitin sulfate B.
