Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The HTR4 gene encodes a serotonin receptor belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor family. These receptors stimulate cAMP production in response to serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine). The gene product is a glycosylated transmembrane protein functioning in both the peripheral and central nervous systems to modulate neurotransmitter release. Multiple transcript variants with distinct C-terminal sequences have been described, though some full-length variants remain undetermined.
